So, I've had a lot of requests on how the wedding planning is going and the reason that I've not posted about it yet is because its been at a stand still for a month or so now. I've been slacking off and then today, I got reminded that I only have just over 2 months left to go and I started freaking out that I had slacked off. So, this is what we have planned for the next couple of weeks:
Invitation printing, more dress shopping on June 2nd. I have a dress but my mom and sister thinks I need to look one more time to see if I like something better. Then on June 7th, we are doing engagement photos and yes.... Ava is going to be in the photo with us on our invites. I wouldn't have it any other way! Now... I really need to start thinking about what everyone else in my wedding party is going to wear. Since it's a garden wedding, I've axed the tuxedo's for something less formal but just don't know what yet.
I'll keep you all updated on how the next couple of weeks go...

Grandpa Eugene Funk
Just a quick post to remember Kyle's Papa Gene. Papa Gene passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2008. Papa Gene was such a kind loving wonderful man and we will miss him dearly. We love you!

Flowers
For those of you who know Aimee and those that don't, just a quick reminder that I LOVE flowers. Last Saturday, May 17th and Monday, May 19th I spent a few hours planting flower pots and hanging baskets. Well, come Thursday, they were all covered with a sheet because it got cold again. The weather went from 85 for high to about 50 for a high.

Summer Days....
These pictures were taken last Sunday, May 18th. It was such a nice warm day. We spent most of the day outside just hanging out as a family. We love these nice warm days but don't like all of the pollen that is in the air right now. It brings out Ava's allergies and asthma and that is not so much fun!

So, why mommy was planting some flower pots, Ava thought it would be fun to play in the dirt. Ava was wearing her "brand new" Hanna Andersson dress and mommy didn't think it was so cute when she first saw her in the dirt. Needless to say, mommy laughed about it a minute later and had to take some pictures!

"50" things you may not know about Aimee.....
So a friend that I work with challenged me to "100" things you may not know about me. However, I've decided to do "50" things you may not know about me instead!
1. I am in school AGAIN!
2. My natural hair color is blonde
3. I love Lake Powell
4. I could go to Hawaii hundreds of times and never get sick of it
5. I love the sun
6. Ava is my little sunshine
7. My best friends' names are Shanan, Misty and of course Kyle!
8. I work for the State of Utah
9. I am getting married on August 8, 2008
10. I miss my friends from AIB (you know who you are)!
11. I am petrified of ANY bird
12. My mom & dad are divorced; both are remarried
13. I have one sister (Misty)
14. I love to go on walks with my daughter and dogs
15. I like snow but don't really like the cold that come with it
16. I still drive my 1997 Jetta

18. I like to sit by a campfire but don't really like to camp

Baby Baby!
This is Ava and her cousin, Gratia. We kept Gratia for a few hours a couple of Sunday's ago and Ava LOVED all of the baby stuff that we brought out for Gratia to play with.
