Furry Friends

Ava decided that she wanted to take Gus for a walk today or better said, Gus took Ava for a walk! She had so much fun and it was such a nice day. We are so excited for these nice warm days to continue.

Cruising.....

Since it was such a nice day, Ava thought she'd take a cruise in her car. She had so much fun!

Planning

So, the planning continues and I am well on my way. I have already done or there is a plan in place for: invitations, wedding dress, bridesmaid’s dresses, men’s clothing, photographer, rings, location, flowers, band and the caterer. I have the caterer booked but haven't decided on the food yet.

My question is this? What am I missing because I know I'm missing tons and just not thinking and have probably overlooked some important things. Help!!!

My Week in Numbers....

So, I got this from Jen and it sounded like fun!

1. The number of children I have as well as a psychology test due this week and the number of times I gave blood this week (that was a first for me).
2. The number of dogs I have and also the number of bridesmaid dresses I bought this week.
3. The number of people in my household who need a haircut.
4. The minimum number of times I've been to the grocery store this week.
5. The number of days I worked this week including, working out!
6. The minimum loads of laundry done in a week - not including weekends.
7. The number of times I cleaned Ava's bedroom.
8. The number of meetings I attended this week.
9. How many times I've watched or listened from the other room to "Max & Ruby" since last night!
10. Last but not least.... the MINIMUM number of baths Ava takes in a week. She thinks she needs a bath everytime her hands get dirty.

Change of Plans....

So, we have a minor change of plans with the wedding. The date has been changed from August 9th to August 8th, one day sooner. There are a number of reasons for the change and we are just glad that we put two and two together when we did. Hope everyone is doing well. I'd love to see everyone sometime soon... Happy Easter.... The Easter Bunny left some eggs in our yard this morning for Ava and her cousins. Although she did get to go on an egg hunt last year, she really didn't understand it. This year was much more fun!

Coloring Easter Eggs!

Ava colored Easter Eggs tonight and had a blast! She colored them with her cousins, Garrett & Kyden. She didn't know quite what to think about putting an egg in a cup and when you took it out; she said oh mama, pretty each time!

Bathtime Baby!

Well, Ava won the battle this morning to bath in her clothes. We have a battle almost daily but this morning, Ava finally won! She is such a little stinker at times but she's always mommy's blue eyed princess!

Viva Mesquite!!!

We went away with friends over the weekend to Mesquite, NV. Played a little golf, bingo and blackjack, hung out with friends and just had a great time! The weather was about 72 and just beautiful. I really needed a weekend to rejuvenate and just let any stress I had go. It was a well needed weekend getaway!

Now, it's back to the grind.... work, school, Ava, home and continue to plan the wedding. So, I need to know; does anyone know a good place to get invitations?

The planning begins!

WOW... I had no idea that wedding planning was so stressful! I did however; find the most important part of a wedding, a dress. It is so pretty when you see it. The picture doesn't do it any justice. I went with an ivory color and the shorter tea length since we are having the wedding outside in my parents' yard. I now have to worry about everything else; invitations, bridesmaids dresses, flowers, etc. So... my question is this? Does anyone know how to plan a wedding without all of the stress that comes with it??? HELP!!!!!!

Announcement!!!

Well, I have a bit of an announcement to make. Since we have been together for five long years (Kyle says it's more like an eternity), Kyle and I have decided that we are finally going to get married. The date is August 9th and we're going to have it at my mom and step-dad's home here in Mt. Pleasant. They have a beautiful yard and Stanton is excited to plant flowers for the occasion. I'll give you an update on the details once I start the planning. We only decided a couple of days ago on the date and my sister, Misty, is already hard at work finding things that I need to do. Winter Wonderland.......

We have been pounded with snow over the past couple of days. Ava said to her dad this morning, what happened to the road? We have probably got about 13 inches since last night. This is the most snow I've seen in years!

Ava's daddy built her some new shelves in her closet. Ava decided that it was more fun to play and try to sleep on them then to put her shoes and other things on them.
